What you'll study
Perioperative theatre technology is the work of the operating theatre — preparing it, running it, and supporting the surgical team through a procedure from start to finish.
Two years, trimester-based, with practicals and attachment built into the fee structure. This is the Level 6 diploma; the shorter certificate is 3 trimesters.
The unit-by-unit curriculum is TBC on this page — ask us for it and we will send it.
Fees
KES 48,500per trimester — the standard fee, trimesters 2 to 4
First trimester KES 66,200. It is higher because registration, caution money (refundable), uniform and lab coat, the medical examination on admission and the Hepatitis B vaccine are all charged once, at the start. From trimester 2 the bill settles down — and the last two trimesters are lower still, because tuition drops to KES 25,000 for them.
All figures are indicative — 2026 approved structure; confirm with the Finance Office.
